Planned Events – September 2020 Intake

In light of the on-going health situation and Government guidelines and advice, it is with regret that we advise that the planned events scheduled during the Summer Term can no longer take place:

Uniform Sale Day (& Admission Drop in Session) previously planned for 13 June 2020 and our Year 6 Induction Day & Parent/Carer Induction Evening scheduled for Tuesday 07 July 2020 will NOT take place.

The following documents have been posted to parents of Year 6 students which provide details of alternative methods to provide opportunities to supply families with uniform safely and efficiently, and our Induction plans.

A detailed Induction Pack will be sent to parents in July.

Planned Events – September 2021 Intake

Open Evening and Open Mornings

Ordinarily, at the start of every academic year, we hold an Open Evening which provides you and your child with the opportunity to meet with staff, have a guided tour of the school and engage with many activities and presentations.  We also host Open Mornings which allow you to visit and tour the school during a typical school day.  Tours are typically provided by our students who are always keen to meet prospective families and chat about their experiences at school; we believe they are our best ambassadors!

Unfortunately, due to the current health situation relating to COVID-19, it may not be possible for our planned Open Evening and Open Mornings to take place in our usual format.  We are, instead, currently exploring the option of a Virtual Open Event.

IT Test: 10 October 2020

The scheduled date for the IT test currently remains unchanged, however due to the current health situation and to comply with ongoing government guidelines, arrangements to the test day are constantly under review to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Updates relating to the ICT Test will be published on the school website (Admissions Year 6 to 7 September 2021 Intake page).

Please ensure that you submit your Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to the school no later than 02 October 2020 either by post or email to: info@billericayschool.com  (for the attention of Mrs Barton/Admissions Officer).
