IT Aptitude Test (SIF Form)
The Billericay School is designated as having a specialism in ‘Maths and Computing’ and in addition to the published admission criteria, 28 places (10%) will be available to children who demonstrate aptitude for computing in an IT Aptitude Test to be conducted at the Billericay School on 12 October 2019. Applications to sit the aptitude test must be submitted direct to The Billericay School no later than 04 October 2019, using the school’s IT Test Application Form (Supplementary Information Form - SIF). The school will write to parents that have submitted an application during the week commencing 07 October 2019 with test appointment times. Notification of eligibility for a specialist school place (i.e. if a child achieved the minimum score required) will be posted to parents no later than 18 October 2019. The Aptitude Test is not compulsory and available to all - parents should give consideration as to whether they wish to apply.
Please remember that completing a SIF on its own is not an application of a school preference - parents must still apply direct to the Local Authority (Essex County Council) by using the Essex Common Application Form (CAF) by the Essex deadline.

Open Evening and Open Mornings
At the start of every academic year, we hold an Open Evening which provides you and your child with the opportunity to meet with staff, have a guided tour of the school and engage with many activities and presentations. We also host Open Mornings which allow you to visit and tour the school during a typical school day. Tours are typically provided by our students who are always keen to meet prospective families and chat about their experiences at school; we believe they are our best ambassadors!
We strongly recommend that all prospective parents and students visit the school at one of our events to get a real feel for the school and what we offer.
Details of our next Open Evening and Open Mornings can be found under our events tab.
