Writing across the curriculum

Recent changes to examinations at both GCSE and A level have seen our students being required to do more extended writing in most of their subjects. As a response to this we are developing a whole school approach to writing, which builds on our existing, excellent literacy resources and provision and considers the most up to date educational research about writing in schools.

We are pleased to inform you that the school now use the MyEd system which provides a more accessible way to communicate and share information with you, our parent community.

As your son/daughter’s school, we want you to feel as much a part of their education as possible and the increased use of smart phone technology provides an opportunity to do this. The MyEd app is a free parent app that gives you access to a range of communication and information features to stay in touch with what is happening at school. The app is available for both Apple iOS and Android devices.
