The Billericay School

School Uniform and School Shop

At The Billericay School, we believe that the wearing of school uniform encourages community cohesion and equality, as well as engendering in students the importance of high standards of personal presentation when in a work environment.  We believe that taking pride in their personal appearance is an important factor in students' academic success and it is for this reason that we place such high expectations on the standards of uniform and general presentation expected from our students.

Compulsory Items

Whilst many of the items within our school uniform are available elsewhere, there are a select number of items which MUST be purchased from the school shop/Monkhouse including;

  • Billericay School badge which must be sewn onto a regulatory black blazer
  • Billericay School tie with coloured stripe denoting student year group

Optional Items

Please note that students wishing to wear a skirt for school will need to ensure this is purchased from the Uniform Shop, Monkhouse, as this pleated, knee length, skirt is the only skirt style that meets our uniform requirements. Of course, students may continue to wear plain, black trousers providing they meet our uniform regulations as set out in the Student Planner.

Jumpers and cardigans are also optional but must be purchased from Monkhouse so as to include the school logo.

Payment can be made by cash or debit/credit card. Cheques are no longer accepted as a means of purchase.

The majority of items are kept in stock in the school shop - additional items are available from Monkhouse directly. For more information, including pricing please CLICK HERE.
