March 2026
Dear Parents/Carers,
As the Spring term draws to a close I would like to start by extending my thanks to students and their families for their continued support at The Billericay School. There have been so many events and opportunities this term for our students to engage with and it is extremely important to highlight these things just do not happen in schools without the dedicated staff we have at The Billericay School.
Whilst the newsletter is filled with the photographs and details of these different elements from across the term there are two I would like to highlight here. Firstly, the school production of Little Shop of Horrors which I had the pleasure of attending with my daughter who gave the production five stars! Opportunities to act, sing, dance, and perform have, for a long time, been at the heart of The Billericay School and I am proud to say they will not be going away any time soon. Secondly, the Year 11 weekend revision residential camp at the Danbury activity centre. It was brilliant to see so many of our Year 11s taking the time to study and prepare for their upcoming exams whilst supporting one another and strive for success.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all families a restful and peaceful Easter break. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday 13 April 2026, Week B, as we begin the Summer term which brings with it the opening of the formal Summer exam series, an abundance of trips, visits and experiences beyond the classroom, and, of course, Sports Day.
