May 2025 Newsletter

Dear Parents/Carers and Students,

 As always, the academic year has flown by and we are now in the season of public examinations for our Year 11 and 13 students. I wanted to say how proud we are as a school with the way our students have conducted themselves across the start of the exam season. Attendance, punctuality and commitment in lessons, Masterclasses and Exams has been exceptional. Students have been taking advantage of the opportunities available to them and it has been a pleasure to see them so engaged and working tirelessly in Masterclasses. We would greatly appreciate the continuation of your support with attendance to these over and after half term.

When we return on Monday 2 June, students in Year 11 and 13 will only be expected on site for an examination or to participate in a Masterclass. I would like to wish each of them the very best of luck and I look forward to seeing them on Friday 27 June for their respective Leavers’ Assemblies.

 In order to facilitate the Leavers’ Assemblies, students in Year 7-10 are not due in school until shortly before the start of Period 2 on that day. Further details will be shared with parents/carers in due course.

I would like to wish you all a restful break and I look forward to seeing students back in school on Monday 2 June 2025, Week B.
