October 2025 Newsletter

Dear Parents, carers and students, 

As we reach the end of the first half term of this academic year, I hope you will enjoy reading some of the many events that have taken place since we returned in September.

Firstly, I would like to thank all of the families and Year 6 students who attended our successful Open Evening and our hugely popular Open Morning Tours. We had over 180 families in over the seven mornings and received some amazing feedback.

In the course of the first half term, our school has hosted a Celebration Festival for our new Year 7 students, our annual Fun Walk and an induction programme for our new Year 12 students, visits from careers providers, as well as a plethora of school trips and visits including an Adventure Programme visit to Pembrokeshire.

Our new Year 7s have become valuable members of The Billericay School family and are now fully integrated into the life of the school. I have seen them growing in confidence every day and demonstrating our school values of curiosity, aspiration and success.

I hope you all have a restful break and I look forward to seeing students again when we return on Monday 3 November 2025 which will be Week B.
