We are World Record Breakers!

On Tuesday 1 July, 20 of our amazing Year 9 and 10 'Shine' students took part in Jamie Oliver’s Greatest World Record attempt — aiming to set the record for the largest cookery class ever held.

We were one of around 700 schools worldwide, joining over 10,500 participants across 6 continents and 42 countries. Using just basic kitchen tools — no pasta machines or rolling pins — our students successfully made homemade pasta from scratch!

It was a fun, hands-on experience, and the class absolutely loved it. Even better, we officially smashed the Guinness World Records™ title for the largest cookery lesson (in multiple venues) — and are now proud record breakers!
